Dance South Gloucestershire started in 2006 as a partnership between South Gloucestershire Council and GD to help develop dance in South Gloucestershire. DSG is a partner in the Dance South West network.
DSG’s priorities are to:
- Increase and develop the dance 'offer' in South Gloucestershire
- Provide dance opportunities for those with little or no arts experience
- Promote the benefits of dance including active lifestyles and personal, social and creative development
- Address the emotional and physical well-being of people
- Address gaps in dance provision within South Gloucestershire

Enjoy moving, connecting, communicating and having fun through dance
