GD supports two individuals per year to begin a career in dance leadership.

- free places on GD courses including Lead In, child protection and monthly classes
- opportunities to work with experienced dance practitioners
- assisting at or leading workshops and/or classes, with observation and support
- creating dance pieces for youth groups / school children
- assisting at GD events
- regular one-to-ones and mentoring with a supporting personal development plan
- written reports, self-evaluation
- an introduction to project management and broader arts administration
The apprenticeship can be fitted around other commitments and is likely to take up at least 14 hours per week.
