The laboratories will be led by a combination of nationally-renowed choreographers, emerging choreographers with disabilities, and experienced inclusive dance artists associated with Gloucestershire Dance.

Diploma for Dance Teaching and Learning

The Diploma for Dance Teaching and Learning (Children and Young People) (DDTAL) is a new benchmark qualification designed by the dance industry for the dance industry.

Arts Awards
Arts Award aspires to support any young person to enjoy the arts and develop creative leadership skills. You need to be aged between 11 and 25, and ready to explore new creative experiences. The Arts Award is on the Qualifications and Credit Framework and is accredited by Ofqual.

Certificate in Safe and Effective Dance Practice
The Certificate recognises best practice in delivering safe and effective dance activity. The level is equivalent to that of the end of the second year of a three year degree course, or the third year of a four year degree course. There are no formal prerequisites for the Certificate in Safe and Effective Dance Practice however it is thought that most candidates will have experience in dance training and/or dance teaching. The Certificate has been accredited by the UK's Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) at Level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework.

Emergency First Aid at Work - Sports First Aid
All candidates will receive a training pack, colour manual, 3 certificates (on the night) - Emergency First Aid at Work - Sports First Aid 6 hrs, BHF Emergency Life Support and Auto Adrenaline Injection Pen Module. The course is recognised for use in the workplace and supports the UKCC coaching requirements.

Safeguarding and Protecting Children
This workshop is aimed at any individual who is involved with coaching, leading or assisting within children's activities. Safeguarding and Protecting Children (16–18) is intended primarily for UKCC Level 1 assistant coaches but can be adapted for other groups (eg young leaders, young officials, sport students).
